The Laboratory of Ideas presents: ‘Thinking Making’

As part of an ongoing series of events The Laboratory of Ideas is proud to present a screening of ‘Thinking Making’, directed by film maker Henry Ward, Head of Education at Freelands Foundation. The film investigates the pioneering approach taken at Plymouth College of Art where making has been placed at the centre of their ideology. Investing in the spaces and equipment required to teach craft skills, Plymouth College of Art is exploring the relationship between analogue and digital techniques and providing their students with a unique experience. The film will be followed by a discussion about some of the issues that it raises.
