Produced by the Plastic Oceans Foundation, the documentary A Plastic Ocean shows the shocking truth about the consequences of plastic pollution on not only marine life, but also humans. Filmed in 20 locations, a team of researchers, adventurers and ocean ambassadors attempt to introduce technology and policy solutions to change things for the better. eXXpedition will be returning from the first ever circumnavigation of Britain with the intent of collecting continuous data on microplastics. They are an all women crew who care deeply about the future of this planet.
